The Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree programme is developed for students to acquire a deeper understanding of the essential facts, concepts, theories and principles of electrical engineering. This is an ideal course for students with a good aptitude for math and science. It is also perfect for students who are keen to explore the practical application of technology in solving problems, both creatively and logically.
 
This programme is designed to produce self-reliant engineering and technical graduates, as well as to fulfil the engineering and technical manpower requirement of our rapidly evolving local industrial landscape. By combining electrical and electronic engineering, students can opt for pathways in telecommunications and power.

  1. All student applying for the programme will need to obtain credit and above for SPM / 1119 / UEC / O Level English.
  2. If English language requirements are not fulfilled, students are required to sit for the English Placement test and based on the results, students will be advised to take the appropriate English course(s) of the Certificate in Intensive English. Students are required to complete the Certificate of Intensive English modules before the commencement of the NU programmes.
