伯乐校史

伯乐大学学院是一所具有32年历史和办学经验的高等学府,致力于满足现实世界的实际教育需求,不仅培育优秀的毕业生, 也装备学生以便前往世界顶尖大学深造。
 
创办于1983年的伯乐大学学院,是马来西亚私立教育的领导者,亦是全马第一所建设本身特建校区的私立学院。它的前身为伯乐学院,于2010年升格为大学学院,这也反映出它优越的课程素质及激增的国际学生人数。
 
伯乐大学学院及伯乐学院皆为百乐园教育(Paramount Education)旗下的成员,这个全面合的教育机构,不仅兴办小学、中学、大学及学士后研究,亦提供执行员与专业发展课程。

 
Heritage
1983
  • Kolej Damansara Utama (as it was first known) opened for enrolment and welcomed its first batch of students. Offered courses such as GCE A-Level, STP and US Pre-University courses and the American Credit Transfer program.

1984
  • Pioneer batch of American Credit Transfer program students transfer to various universities across the United States.
  • First in the nation to run the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) course on a full-time basis.
  • Introduced the first overseas twinning programme in partnership with Middlesex Polytechnic (Middlesex University).

1991
  • Established the Penang Campus to cater to the higher education needs of aspiring youths in the northern region.

2010
  • Awarded the ‘University College’ status.

2015
  • Moved to its flagship campus in Utropolis Glenmarie.

  • Awarded an Entry Point Project under the Malaysian Government’s Economic Transformation Plan (ETP), spearheading the Game Development Industry in Malaysia.
  • MyGameDev2020 is an initiative spearheaded by KDU University College that represents the start of a strategic collaboration between educational institutions and industry sectors.
  • KDU University College collaborates with Codemasters Studios to develop talent and to build national awareness.
  • Bachelor of Game Development (Hons) programme student won The Merit Award for the MSC-Malaysia APICTA 2013 awards under the Best of Tertiary Student Project Category (Creative Multimedia)
  • Bachelor of Computing programme won the central zone category for the MyInovasi 2012 competition, a competition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education to promote innovation and creativity.
